Indiana Limestone Gray
Indiana Limestone is one of the most widely-used, natural stones in the world for just about any stone-based building project.
It is neutral in color and almost without blemish. The color range is a warm white (or buff) tone. This limestone has no discernable grain structure, giving it equal physical strength in all directions. Combined with a high resistance to deterioration from weather and pollution, this stone is a great choice for any application where natural stone and crisp detail edges are desired.
Characteristics:
Compressive Strength: 4,000 psi (ASTM C170)
Modulus of Rupture: 700 psi (ASTM C99)
Absorption: 7-1/2% (ASTM C97)
Bulk Specific Gravity: 2.1 to 2.75
Density: 144 lbs/cubic ft.
